Dr.-Ing. Andreas Bauer, born 1969, has been President of the Bauer International Group Inc. in Boca Raton, Florida/USA since 2005, providing consulting services for companies in the USA and Germany in the fields of process optimisation, international cooperation and opening up of new markets.

From 1995, he had been working as a project engineer/manager with IAP GmbH until he did his Ph.D. on “Lifecycle-oriented optimisation of maintenance systems for high-grade investment goods” in 2002. After that, he went to Lufthansa Technik AG taking over the leadership of a team in the Component Services area for three years. Here, apart from internal projects on process and system optimisation, he was responsible for special projects dealing with the optimisation of the worldwide spare parts supply for Lufthansa customers including the set-up of an international headquarter. In 2005, he relocated his residence to the USA.

Meanwhile, he has executed a number of projects together with IAP GmbH. His core competences are in supply chain management, spare parts management, process optimisation, worldwide production networks as well as opening up of new markets.
